The 5th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Dai commune (Thach Ha, Ha Tinh) for the 2024-2029 term is an opportunity to consolidate and develop the organization, gather and unite young people to participate in movements and activities.
On the morning of January 7, the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Dai commune held its 5th Congress for the 2024-2029 term. This is the first grassroots congress in the whole province. Representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union, leaders of Thach Ha district and 63 outstanding youths of Thach Dai commune attended. |

Currently, the whole Thach Dai commune has 1,285 young people, accounting for 22% of the population, 625 young people are present in the area, of which the number of young people gathered in the association is 496, reaching 79.7%.
After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Dai commune, term 2019 - 2024, the work of the association and youth movement of Thach Dai commune has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the commune government.
The results are quite comprehensive in all contents from propaganda, education to raise political awareness, awareness of preserving and promoting the fine traditions of the homeland and country, law compliance, ethics training, and lifestyle for members and youth.

The activities of the association have closely followed the political tasks of the locality, making an important contribution to socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, building the Party and the political system of the commune.

For the 2024 - 2029 term, the Youth Union of Thach Dai commune launched the slogan of action: Solidarity - Creativity - Volunteerism - Development.
Regarding the direction of activities: Strengthening the building of a strong Youth Union; expanding the solidarity front, gathering young people; supporting young people to establish businesses, start-ups, be creative, proactive, volunteer, and build the homeland of Thach Dai to become increasingly rich and civilized.
Key targets: 85% of young people do well in studying and following the moral example and style of Ho Chi Minh; 100% of cadres and members are thoroughly informed and studied, and 90% of young people are propagandized and disseminated about the resolutions of the Party, Youth Union and Association. The rate of gathering members is over 85%; 100% of the association's cadres are regularly trained and fostered in professional skills and youth work skills. The Congress also elected 13 members of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Dai commune, term V, 2024 - 2029. At the same time, Mr. Truong Quang Tuan was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Dai commune and elected 4 delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thach Ha district.
