The 2024 Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival in Lao Cai province displays 300 Tet newspapers and magazines from across the country.

With the theme "Lao Cai Press: Innovation - Creativity - Humanity - Modernity", the Giap Thin Spring Press Festival of Lao Cai province will be held at the Lao Cai Ward Cultural House, Lao Cai city for 3 days, from February 22 to 24, 2024 (January 13 to 15, Giap Thin year).

The 2024 Lao Cai Province Giap Thin Spring Press Festival is a meaningful political, social and cultural activity, contributing to enlivening and enriching spiritual life and bringing the press more closely connected to people's lives.

At the same time, honor the strong development of Lao Cai press and the press nationwide as well as the results of the labor and creative dedication of journalists in the context of digital transformation.

This is also an opportunity for journalists to meet and interact with the public; thereby receiving more opinions to innovate and diversify information and propaganda methods, increasingly better meeting people's need for information access.

In 2024, the Lao Cai Provincial Spring Press Festival will display and introduce about 300 types of typical press publications from the Central Government, localities across the country and Lao Cai province, including: Printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, photo newspapers, magazines, newsletters, books, radio and television press products...

Exhibition of press photos on the economic, cultural, social, national defense and security development and foreign affairs in 2023 of Lao Cai province. At the same time, organize an award ceremony for internal newsletters of departments, branches, sectors and organizations in the province.

Lao Cai Provincial Spring Newspaper Festival opens at 8:30 a.m. on February 22, 2024 (January 13, Giap Thin year).

In 2024, Lao Cai chose Van Ban district as the focal point for organizing district-level Spring Newspaper Festival activities.

The remaining districts and towns arrange suitable locations and times to organize Spring newspaper exhibitions to serve the people and tourists.

In previous years, the Lao Cai Province Spring Newspaper Festival was held at the Thuong Temple Spring Festival in Lao Cai City on the full moon day of January, attracting hundreds of thousands of people to come and read the newspaper.
