Mai Tra Ngoc Anh, a student at Phu Nhuan High School, studies student psychology.
Floating duck syndrome with students
Participating in the contest with the topic "Impact of floating duck syndrome on high school students in Ho Chi Minh City and proposing some solutions", Mai Tra Ngoc Anh, a student at Phu Nhuan High School, mentioned that floating duck syndrome is a psychological problem that negatively affects the mental health and learning of high school students, and needs to be researched and solutions found.
According to Ngoc Anh, in fact, research shows that teenagers today tend to compare themselves on social networks and in real life, especially teenagers between the ages of 15-18. Because this is the stage that undergoes many psychological changes due to brain development and hormonal changes. At this age, there will be changes in psychology such as the desire to be recognized and affirmed in society. In addition, young people also face pressure from studying, from relationships with friends, family... leading to many potential risks that can cause negative impacts on this age of maturity. For example, a student can achieve high scores and participate in many extracurricular activities, but that does not mean they do not face pressure. Internally, they may face exhaustion and anxiety when trying to maintain an excellent image.
Therefore, Ngoc Anh hopes that the project will point out the reality of the relationship between high school students and the floating duck syndrome, propose some highly practical solutions, and contribute to supporting the resolution of cases considered to have the syndrome. At the same time, propose solutions to help build and convey healthy information related to the floating duck syndrome to students. From there, contribute to building and raising students' awareness, helping the comprehensive development process of students to be more complete.
Nguyen Song Ngoc Chau, a 9th grade student at Tran Van On Secondary School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) shares about his research topic.
Learn History Through Games
Nguyen Song Ngoc Chau, a 9th grade student at Tran Van On Secondary School (District 1), researched to come up with a creative solution to create interest in learning about the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
In the process of studying and learning about current social issues, Nguyen Song Ngoc Chau shared that a reality that needs to be deeply concerned today is that history is losing its important position, in which there are students, even those older than us, when asked about elementary knowledge of Vietnamese history, they are almost unable to answer, they think that learning history is also boring, difficult to absorb... Besides, with the subject knowledge, when studying the topic of Ho Chi Minh Campaign, I realized that although history is very interesting, the knowledge in the book is quite difficult to remember, not really complete and stereotyped.
Therefore, from her love for history and her own research, Ngoc Chau researched the topic to find a solution to help her peers find passion and interest in history.
Specifically in this topic, through knowledge of Vietnamese history in the period 1954 to 1975, Ngoc Chau designed and built a method using a historical game called: "Ho Chi Minh Campaign". Through this game, I hope to help you approach history from a new perspective, find interest in learning".
