This project was approved by the Department of Transport in 2018 with a total investment of more than 237 billion VND, with the Transport Department as the investor. The above cost does not include the land clearance fee of 995 billion VND, implemented by the Land Clearance Compensation Board of Binh Tan District with 380 affected cases including 372 households and 8 organizations.

The project started in March 2023 with the starting point at the intersection of Binh Long Street and the end point at the intersection with Ma Lo Street; expanding the urban road about 2km long from 7-8m to 30m with 6 lanes.

In addition, the route also builds a complete system of rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, trees, lighting, technical trenches and traffic organization.
