112th Provincial Party Standing Committee Conference

On the morning of March 27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held the 112th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (regular) to review and evaluate the situation and results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the first quarter and deploying key tasks in the second quarter of 2025. Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the Conference were comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Pham Ngoc Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and units.

In the first quarter of 2025, the province's socio-economic situation continued to develop; most indicators increased compared to the same period. The whole province has planted the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring crop on 69,360 hectares (110.1% of the plan); the total area of perennial industrial crops is currently 373,772 hectares (an increase of 15,687 hectares over the same period); total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at VND 29,400 billion (24.5% of the plan, an increase of 5.57% over the same period); total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 600 billion (an increase of 95.28% over the same period); total state budget revenue is estimated at VND 3,230 billion (an increase of 49.3% over the same period)...

Comrade Le Vinh Quy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department spoke at the Conference.

The cultural and social security sectors continue to receive attention; the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been effectively implemented, bringing initial results. Political security and social order and safety continue to be maintained.

Comrade Nguyen Tuan Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the Conference.

In particular, in March 2025, the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival and the 50th Anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak province took place, attracting a large number of tourists to the province, contributing to promoting the development of service industries.

Also at the Conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee reviewed and commented on the draft report summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 41-CT/TW, dated February 5, 2015 of the Secretariat (11th tenure) on "strengthening the Party's leadership in festival management and organization"; reviewed and commented on the Project to merge the Provincial Radio and Television Station into Dak Lak Newspaper; commented on the content and agenda of the 36th Provincial Party Executive Committee meeting.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the results achieved in the first quarter of 2025; notably the successful organization of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, leaving good images in the hearts of people and tourists. In the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue to focus on leading and closely directing the tasks of arranging and streamlining the apparatus at all levels.
