We are not much different from the ASEAN Cup. We have not had 10 days to prepare for the match with the Vietnam national team. The 3 players of European origin have not had much time to practice with the team. They only had 2 days to prepare for the friendly match with Sri Lanka. Therefore, I cannot evaluate right away.

I want the Lao national team to become stronger with Lao players. I want to send Lao players abroad to play in Korea, Thailand or Vietnam. Only then can the Lao national team develop and become stronger."

Meanwhile, midfielder Damoth Thongkhamsavath, a Lao player who is preparing to join Thanh Hoa Club in the V-League, said: "I have Vietnamese blood in me and am very happy to be cared for by fans here. After the ASEAN Cup 2024, I will return to play in the Lao National Championship. I see myself improving a lot and am very excited to prepare to play in the V-League.

Regarding tomorrow's match, we will try to minimize our mistakes to aim for at least 1 point."
