The principal of a high school in Bac Lieu has many violations.

Through verification results, of the 5 accusations in the petition of a teacher at Phan Ngoc Hien High School (Bac Lieu) about the violations of Mr. Le Minh Quang - Principal of this school, 3 accusations were correct, and one accusation was partially correct.

Specifically, the three correct accusations include that Mr. Le Minh Quang did not comply with the teaching hour quota/year, but still received full preferential allowances for teachers in the past 3 school years; Also in the past 3 school years, Mr. Quang directed the collection and disbursement of high school graduation exam review money against the regulations and instructions of the Department, when collecting additional review money for 1 week more than the actual number of review weeks of teachers.

In addition, in the past 3 school years, Mr. Le Minh Quang also directed the collection and disbursement of the Scholarship Fund money in violation of financial regulations and guidance documents of the Department. Although the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province warned and reminded that the above collection was wrong, Mr. Quang continued to direct homeroom teachers to notify parents of students to continue collecting in the 2024-2025 school year.

The accusation is partly true that Mr. Le Minh Quang loosened management, allowing a teacher to miss some lessons in a local education subject when the school year had ended.

Regarding this issue, Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu has directed the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province to handle the matter thoroughly after verifying and drawing specific conclusions so as not to let the case "sink".
