Herbalife Vietnam supports improving meal quality for more than 1,100 disadvantaged children

Herbalife Vietnam has just held a ceremony to renew the cooperation program with seven Casa Herbalife partners to help improve the quality of daily meals for more than 1,100 disadvantaged children. This activity marks 10 years of the Casa Herbalife program being implemented in Vietnam.

Through the program, Herbalife Vietnam has provided financial support to help improve the quality of daily meals for more than 1,100 children in difficult circumstances.

Since 2013, the project has expanded to seven centers nationwide, including: Dong Tam Social Protection Center in Binh Dinh Province, Huong Duong Orphanage in Hau Giang Province, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association, Xa Dan Secondary School in Hanoi, Nghe An Provincial Social Work Center, Viet Tri Orphan and Disabled Children Protection Center in Phu Tho Province, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School in Hanoi.

As of early 2023, the Casa Herbalife Vietnam program has supported more than VND 17 billion to help improve the quality of daily meals for children being cared for at these centers. In addition, Herbalife Vietnam also implements practical programs such as the NFZH Star program and nutrition festivals to help children understand more about healthy nutrition and form regular exercise habits. Herbalife Vietnam employees and independent members also organize annual activities on special occasions such as Lunar New Year, International Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, bringing joy to children at Casa Herbalife Centers.

Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Director of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, shared: “We are very excited and proud that the Casa Herbalife Vietnam Program has been maintained and expanded over the past 10 years and has made meaningful contributions to improving the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

The program is continuously maintained and developed thanks to the kindness and practical contributions of Herbalife Vietnam Independent Members, who are always at the center of our community programs. We are also very grateful to our Casa Herbalife partners for always supporting and working closely with us to ensure that disadvantaged children have nutritious meals and live healthy lives every day."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom, Deputy Director of Dong Tam Social Protection Center, shared: "We are proud to be chosen as the first Casa Herbalife Center in Vietnam. The special care and support from Herbalife Vietnam and the company's independent members have helped improve the daily nutrition of the children at the center, helping them become healthier and encouraging them to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle. On behalf of the children and the center's staff, I would like to thank all the philanthropists at Herbalife Vietnam for their kindness."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia, Viet Tri Center for Orphans and Disabled Children, said: “After a year of receiving financial support from the Casa Herbalife Vietnam Program to improve the quality of children’s daily meals, we are delighted to witness the positive impacts of the program on children’s health.

In addition, the company also organizes meaningful activities to help children develop healthy eating habits and exercise more regularly. I am very happy and grateful that the two sides continue the cooperation program to help bring many positive changes both physically and mentally for the children at the center."

The Casa Herbalife Vietnam program has been implemented in Vietnam since 2013 in line with the goal of improving the nutritional quality of daily meals for disadvantaged children around the world of the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF).
