According to Insider Gaming , Project Q is a handheld PlayStation 5 gaming device, designed to allow gamers to experience games away from the console easily through the Remote Play feature.

Sony confirmed the existence of Project Q in May after much speculation, and the device was expected to arrive later this year. However, recently, a Reddit user with the account 'AyoadeNBN' unexpectedly shared many images of Sony's upcoming portable gaming console.

Later, some leaked images and testing videos of Project Q were also sent to Insider Gaming anonymously by Twitter user @Zuby_Tech, providing an initial detailed look at the device.

Project Q, internally known as 'Q Lite', will feature an 8-inch display and two DualSense-like controllers on either side, which will feature full PlayStation 5 controller functionality like haptic feedback and triggers. The device is expected to have a battery life of 3-4 hours, and will be able to stream games at 1080p and 60FPS.
According to sources, Project Q will likely be released by Sony in November 2023.
