According to GadgetMatch, ASUS is preparing to launch the ROG Ally X, the second generation of its popular handheld gaming console, on June 2. Recently, a series of leaked information from VideoCardz has revealed major improvements on this product, making the gaming community excited.
The most notable highlight is the 'huge' battery with a capacity of up to 80Wh, double that of the previous version. This promises to bring significantly longer gaming time, meeting the needs of passionate gamers.
ROG Ally X - successor of ASUS ROG Ally leaked configuration
Despite the significant increase in battery capacity, the weight of the device is said to increase by "just" 70 grams. Thanks to the much thinner fan design, ASUS will keep the new handheld at a weight that is most comfortable to hold.
In addition, ROG Ally X is also equipped with an additional USB-C port with USB4 speed, providing fast connectivity and data transfer. In terms of configuration, the device will use the same processor and screen as the previous version, but the RAM is upgraded to 24GB, helping to improve processing and multitasking performance.
Although there is no official information from ASUS, these leaks have partly shown that ROG Ally X will be a formidable competitor in the handheld gaming market, with valuable upgrades in battery, connectivity and performance.
