For the first time, Samsung has equipped its wireless headset line with a traditional earbud design. The Galaxy Buds 3 are designed in an open form, while the Buds 3 Pro are in-ear. This change not only brings a more secure grip but also improves the user experience.
The case for both models has also been redesigned with a transparent opening lid, making it easier for users to take the headphones out of the box. In addition, Samsung has added a Bluetooth connection button, making pairing the headphones easier than the previous method of touching the two headphones.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro stands out with 6 hours of music playback with noise cancellation turned on and up to 30 hours when used with the charging case. The Galaxy Buds 3 is not far behind with 5 hours of music playback with noise cancellation turned on and up to 18 hours when used with the charging case.
With the ear stem design, users can control the Galaxy Buds 3 series by swiping or touching the ear stem. In particular, the Buds 3 Pro version is also equipped with two adjustable LED strips, adding a modern look. Both headphone models have upgraded water and dust resistance to IP57, higher than IPX7 of previous generations.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) and adaptive EQ technology, helping users experience the best sound. The headphones use microphones to detect external sounds such as noise, sirens or voices, thereby automatically adjusting the noise cancellation or transparency mode.
Both headphones use improved audio drivers, increasing the frequency response to 40 kHz, double that of the previous generation. The dual amplifier system enhances sound quality, the headphones support SSC UHQ 24 bit/96 kHz music playback, providing smoother, higher quality sound.
Users can control the headset via the Wearable app. Some features are only supported with Samsung phones such as using the headset as a wireless microphone when recording videos, searching for headphones similar to Apple's Find My. In particular, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro version also has a live translation feature when used with the latest Samsung phone models such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
Galaxy Buds3 Pro costs 5.49 million VND while Buds3 version is 3.99 million VND.
