Quang Tri Tourism Association in coordination with Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center on September 19 organized a seminar connecting Quang Tri (Vietnam) - Laos - Thailand tourism to introduce tourism products, tour programs and sign an agreement to strengthen tourism cooperation at Cua Viet, Gio Linh District.

This is a program within the framework of the 2023 tourism caravan with the theme "Colors of Quang Tri". In addition to the leaders of Quang Tri and related departments, there are more than 80 units attending, especially the participation of nearly 40 guests from typical travel agencies and businesses of the two neighboring countries of Laos and Thailand.

The parties signed memorandums of understanding on tourism promotion and linkage in the future.

Within the framework of the workshop, to move towards tourism development cooperation between Quang Tri (Vietnam) and provinces and cities of Laos and Thailand, the Quang Tri Tourism Association, the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center signed a memorandum of understanding to promote and link tours with the Tourism, Trade and Industry Association of the Northeast Thailand region and the Savannakhet Provincial Travel Association.

At the workshop, representatives of the Quang Tri Provincial Tourism Association shared and introduced the potentials and strengths of destinations in the province, especially introducing some sample tour programs "Experience Quang Tri Sea". enter 2 days weekend or 3 days 2 nights to promote and connect with Lao and Thai businesses to attract visitors to stimulate international tourism. In addition, the Organizing Committee invited representatives of Lao and Thai travel businesses to conduct a survey to provide their wishes, suggestions and comments to improve the quality and diversify the tourism products that Quang Tri province has just put into operation.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee arranged booths to display and introduce typical OCOP agricultural products of Quang Tri province, tour programs and routes of travel agencies, and discount policies of accommodation establishments to attract guests.

Also within the framework of the "Colors of Quang Tri" caravan program, from September 18 to September 20, the delegation visited and surveyed destinations such as: La Vang Mother of God Pilgrimage Center, participated in the night tour "Visiting Quang Tri Citadel and paying tribute to heroic martyrs at the flower lantern release wharf on Thach Han River"; visited a number of historical sites in the province such as the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Historical Site, Vinh Moc Tunnels Special National Historical Site and Gio An Ancient Well relic system.
