On the afternoon of June 26, tens of thousands of candidates in Hai Phong came to the 2024 national high school graduation exam sites to complete procedures to receive exam rooms, registration numbers, and listen to the invigilators announce the exam regulations.

Deputy Director of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training Do Van Loi said that the whole city has 25,673 candidates taking the high school graduation exam at 45 exam locations under Examination Council 03, including 6 special candidates (3 candidates with broken right arms cannot write, 1 candidate with broken leg and 2 deaf candidates must wear hearing aids).
For candidates with broken right arms who cannot write, the Examination Council has arranged a separate examination room with cameras to record video and audio and someone to copy the test under the supervision of the invigilator. As for candidates wearing hearing aids, the Examination Council has coordinated with the police to check the devices they are wearing to ensure that these devices are not used to transmit or receive information or images, etc.
Mr. Bui Van Kiem, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong, inspected the preparation of facilities at the examination site of Marie Curie High School.
According to Mr. Loi, Hai Phong Examination Council 03 has 2 examination sites located in Cat Hai island district (1 site on Cat Ba island, 1 site in Cat Hai town). Because the 2 examination sites are geographically separated by ferry and river, the examination papers were transported to the island safely by the Examination Council in coordination with the Steering Committee of Cat Hai district on June 26. At the same time, the Examination Council has also made a detailed plan for transferring the examination papers to the mainland after the end of the exam.
