Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education receives public assets from Binh Phuoc College

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education has just received public assets from Binh Phuoc College to prepare to establish a branch in this locality.

On the afternoon of March 5, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province held a ceremony to hand over and receive public assets from Binh Phuoc College to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education.

The handover of assets is carried out according to the decision of the Ministry of Finance on the transfer of assets such as houses, land and other assets from Binh Phuoc College to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education for management and use.

The event marks an important step in the process of establishing a branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in Binh Phuoc province.

At the ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Hien - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education - said that receiving assets from Binh Phuoc College will help the school have more branches in the locality.

At the same time, it helps improve teaching conditions, research and develop new training programs to meet the increasing demands of the labor market in the region.

Ms. Hien affirmed that she will speed up the related legal procedures to organize enrollment and teaching in Binh Phuoc province in the next school year...

Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh - Vice Chairwoman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the event demonstrates the province's commitment to supportingeducational institutions to improve teaching quality. Thereby, creating the best conditions for generations of students to develop their talents and contribute to the overall development of the locality.

"The handover is also part of the province's university education system development program, aiming to improve the quality of training and scientific research," said Ms. Minh.

Previously, in early October 2024, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education signed a cooperation agreement to establish a branch of this school in Binh Phuoc, aiming to train quality human resources for the locality.

According to the agreement, the branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education will use all facilities and equipment of Binh Phuoc College. At the same time, it will use new facilities and equipment invested in and built by the University of Technical Education.

Estimated capital for implementation is about 264 billion VND.
