Ha Tinh calls for more than 46 billion VND to support people in the North

On September 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province announced that as of 12 noon on the same day, the province had received more than 46 billion VND from agencies, units, businesses and people of the province to support and share the difficulties of people in the North who suffered damage caused by natural disasters.

In addition to the above amount, Ha Tinh province also mobilized workers and officials from the urban environment and electricity sectors, along with armed forces such as soldiers and police, to go directly to areas that suffered heavy damage to participate in the work of overcoming the consequences of the storm.

In particular, Ha Tinh province has launched a movement to temporarily suspend Mid-Autumn Festival activities, instead focusing on the people of the North, with many practical charity programs. Volunteer groups in Ha Tinh also quickly donated and transported goods and essential supplies such as food, medicine, rescue vehicles, etc. to promptly support severely affected areas.

Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, sent a letter of thanks to localities, units, cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, workers; organizations, individuals and people in the whole province for donating and supporting people in the North to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

“The kind and affectionate hearts of the cadres, soldiers and people of Ha Tinh province have been sent by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province to 20 provinces, including: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Giang.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province would like to sincerely thank localities, units, organizations and individuals for promptly sharing the losses and pain caused by natural disasters in the northern provinces and cities," said the letter from Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung.
