Speaking at the Conference, Director of the Hanoi Tax Department Vu Manh Cuong said that with the motto: "All administrative procedure reforms of the tax authority are aimed at best serving taxpayers, all support policies and difficulties must be fully and promptly conveyed to taxpayers", for many years, the Hanoi Tax Department has always identified taxpayers as the center, the object to serve, determined to build a friendly, civilized, professional Capital Tax Department, a place to support and answer questions for people and businesses quickly and conveniently.
According to Director Vu Manh Cuong, in 2022, the total state budget revenue in the city managed by the Tax sector will reach VND306,503 billion, equal to 108.8% of the estimate, surpassing the VND300,000 billion mark for the first time. The revenue structure continues to shift towards increasing the proportion of revenue from production and business activities and gradually reducing revenue related to resources and land. This shows the efforts and contributions of businesses, entrepreneurs, and taxpayers in the capital in maintaining a sustainable source of budget revenue.
Among the 260 enterprises and taxpayers that were honored, 6 enterprises were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Hanoi People's Committee, 10 enterprises were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, and 4 enterprises were awarded Certificates of Merit by the General Department of Taxation...
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai affirmed that Hanoi is one of the localities with the largest budget revenue in the country. The efforts to overcome difficulties by the business community, entrepreneurs, taxpayers and the Hanoi Tax Department are positive contributions to the city achieving its set goals and plans.
Recognizing and praising the positive contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs in Hanoi with outstanding achievements in production and business, good implementation of tax policies and laws, and increasing contributions to the state budget; at the same time praising the efforts of officials and civil servants of the Hanoi Tax Department in tax management in the area, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ha Minh Hai expressed his hope that in the coming time, the entire Tax sector, together with departments, branches and enterprises, will effectively implement green transformation and digital transformation.
“It is necessary to strengthen green transformation, digital transformation, especially digital transformation is a mandatory requirement, which needs to be permeated in all activities. Digital enterprises, digital economy, digital administration are effective solutions to cope with all challenges, creating big changes and breakthroughs,” Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai emphasized.
Highly appreciating the digital transformation efforts of businesses and Hanoi tax authorities, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Taxation Mai Son affirmed that Hanoi is always a pioneer in applying technology to production, business and handling administrative procedures.
“The Hanoi Tax Department is currently taking the lead in implementing Project 06, integrating citizen identification with tax codes, and successfully implementing the digital map of individual business households. In the coming time, the construction of big data, tax management, invoice management, and building a Smart City will also be piloted at the Hanoi Tax Department to accompany businesses and taxpayers in the best and most effective way,” said Deputy Director General of the General Department of Taxation Mai Son.
