Hanoi will conduct surprise inspections of facilities at high risk of fire and explosion.

The inspection subjects include the People's Committees at district and commune levels; the police at district and commune levels; crowded establishments, key establishments with high risk of fire and explosion (apartment buildings, multi-apartment houses, rental service establishments, houses combined with business and production...) in the city.

Time from October 25, 2023 to December 15, 2023. The inspection team will work directly at the selected units and facilities for inspection in the form of surprise inspections according to plan.

The inspection contents include state management work, handling of violations (if any) by agencies assigned to manage; compliance with legal regulations on land, planning, investment, construction, electrical safety, fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for a number of facilities in the form of apartment buildings, multi-apartment houses, rental service business establishments, houses combined with business and production...

In case of detecting establishments violating regulations in the inspected fields, the district-level People's Committee shall direct the handling according to regulations; at the same time, evaluate and clarify the state management responsibilities of relevant agencies, collectives and individuals, and propose forms of handling.

The inspection work aims to promptly detect shortcomings, limitations, and weaknesses in order to strictly handle collectives and individuals who violate or lack responsibility in performing assigned tasks; summarize difficulties, obstacles, and shortcomings in the implementation process to promptly have appropriate and fundamental measures and solutions.

Recommend and propose to competent authorities on inadequacies, in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in areas related to fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue in the coming time.
