It is expected to be completed on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). |
The project investor is the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board. The representative of the unit said that previously, Trang Thi and Hang Khay streets had been renovated, and the renovation of Trang Tien Street would help synchronize this road axis. |

According to writer Uong Lam, Trang Tien used to be a central street for the French during the temporary occupation. No other street in Hanoi at that time had as many shops, stores, pharmacies, restaurants and so-called French civilization as Trang Tien. |
Trang Tien was the core of the old Western Quarter and at that time, those who had money to shop in the shops on this street were considered rich and stylish. |
