In Hanoi, many buildings in Bac Tu Liem, Hoang Mai, Ha Dong... also recorded strong shaking.
Living on the 16th floor of an apartment building in Hanoi, Mr. Luong said that at around 1:20 p.m., his building shook violently, causing many people to panic.
"It's been since I was a child that I've felt an earthquake so clearly, even though I was on the 16th floor it was shaking. I still haven't come to my senses," Mr. Luong shared.
Ms. Huong Giang, who lives in the Garden An Khanh building (Hoai Duc, Hanoi), said: "On the upper floor, I suddenly felt the furniture in the house shaking violently for 5 minutes. It was really scary."

Metro, trains in Bangkok stop operating
According to the National Seismological Center of India (NCS), the tremors were also felt in the capital New Delhi (India), Bangkok (Thailand)...
NCS continued to report another 7.0 magnitude earthquake at 13:32 at latitude 21.41 degrees North, longitude 95.43 degrees East. The epicenter was also at 10km. There are currently no reports of damage or casualties.

7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar

Thai Prime Minister Lai Paetongtarn Shinawatra has convened an "emergency meeting" to deal with the earthquake.
"I was sleeping in my house when I felt the shaking. I ran out of the building in my pajamas, as far as I could," Duangjai, a resident of Chiang Mai, told AFP.
