Offering incense to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the death of President Ton Duc Thang

(HTV) - Commemorating the 45th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's death (March 30, 1980 - March 30, 2025), this morning, a delegation led by Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy offered incense and flowers at Ton Duc Thang Museum.

With infinite respect and gratitude, the delegation offered incense, flowers, and observed a moment of silence to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions and noble qualities of beloved President Ton Duc Thang, who devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause of national liberation and national construction.

The delegation came to offer incense and flowers at Ton Duc Thang Museum.

Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Ton Duc Thang Museum is organizing a special exhibition "Uncle Ton - The Day of Return", introducing to the public the revolutionary journey of President Ton Duc Thang, from a loyal soldier in the Southern workers' movement, to an exemplary leader who always stood side by side with President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation and national reunification; highlighting the historical event "The Day of Return" of Uncle Ton after nearly 30 years away from his homeland, bringing strong emotions to the hearts of the people of the South and the whole country, while raising the aspiration for national reunification, the aspiration of the nation, of the era. This is also the lifelong aspiration, the wish for national independence and national reunification of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang. That great aspiration with eternal meaning has become a reality with Vietnam developing strongly and looking towards the future.
