Announcing the S-Race 2025 student race

On March 28, in Ha Tinh, the announcement ceremony of the S-Race 2025 Student Running Tournament took place with the message "For Vietnamese stature". The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and Vietnam Athletics Federation. In 2024, with the participation of 112,367 students, parents and teachers in the activities, and the response of 63/63 provinces and cities, S-Race officially set the record "School race in the form of live and online with the largest number of athletes participating in the world". This is the first time a Vietnamese school sports event has achieved a world record, marking the rise of the young generation of Vietnam on the journey to realize the aspiration For Vietnamese stature.

Announcing the S-Race 2025 student race

In response to the Overall Project on physical development and stature of Vietnamese people in the period 2011-2030 according to Decision 641/QD-TTg, the School Health Program in the period 2021-2025 according to Decision No. 1660/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, S-Race was organized and has become an annual activity that millions of students across the country enthusiastically participate in.

In 2022, in the second season, S-Race set the Vietnamese Record and the Asian Record for the School Run with the most students participating and maintained this achievement in the following years. In 2024, S-Race developed two specialized brands, S-Race Family for families and S-Race School for schools, attracting the participation and companionship of students, parents and teachers across Vietnam. That cooperation contributed to creating the World Record in 2024, a proud mark of a journey that constantly brings positive values, strongly spreads the love of sports, builds physical training habits, creates a foundation of health and a comprehensive development environment for millions of students nationwide.

To invest heavily in the “growing generation” in the new era, according to the policy of the Party and the State, in parallel with intellectual education, the strategy to improve the health and physical fitness of children and students is one of the key tasks. In particular, encouraging the development of school sports will contribute to raising the stature and improving the quality of Vietnamese human resources, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the country.

With the new name “S-Race Student Running Tournament”, from 2025, S-Race will focus on students - the age group that begins to form the habit of exercise and awareness of physical training. Accordingly, S-Race will expand the participants, dedicating 2 competition events to primary school students.

Together with the specialized brands S-Race Family and S-Race School, this orientation helps S-Race build a comprehensive ecosystem, connecting families and schools, raising awareness of the importance of physical development activities for students.

After the announcement ceremony, on the morning of March 29, the S-Race Ha Tinh race will take place at the square, opening the 2025 season. S-Race Ha Tinh will gather more than 10,000 athletes, of which 4,200 athletes will participate in the live event at Tran Phu Square, and more than 6,000 will participate in the response event in all 11 districts and towns of Ha Tinh province.
