Tuyen Quang province has 121 communes in ethnic minority areas, of which 570 are extremely disadvantaged villages. Along with upgrading and renovating major roads, the province continues to implement the Project on concreting rural roads and building bridges on rural roads in the period of 2021 - 2025. By the end of 2024, the whole province has built nearly 1,000km of rural and intra-field roads and 161 bridges on rural roads, ensuring that 99.94% of villages and hamlets have car roads to the center. Complete the goal of asphalting and concreting 100% of roads from the district center to the commune center; will complete the goal of 100% of villages and hamlets in the province having car roads to the center in 2025.

Recorded in Binh Phu commune, Chiem Hoa district, the road from Phu Lam village to the commune center is now open. This is one of 5 traffic works in the commune that have been invested in; the completed roads help people to conveniently travel and transport agricultural products.
In addition to infrastructure investment, the commune also supports job conversion, domestic water, and housing. Benefiting from the Program since the beginning of 2024, Binh Phu commune has 5 households supported with housing, 12 households with job conversion, and 45 households supported with scattered domestic water. Currently, the whole commune still has 290 poor households, the average poverty rate has decreased by 9.2%/year according to the poverty standard for the period 2021-2025, the appearance of agriculture is increasingly improving.
Mr. Phung Van Thanh, Head of Phu Lam village, Binh Phu commune (Chiem Hoa) shared: "The village has 104 households, 465 people, 95% of whom are Dao ethnic people. Up to now, the village's infrastructure is relatively complete, traffic is convenient, cultural houses and schools have been built spaciously, meeting all the needs of life, everyone is happy".
