Provide skills and knowledge in scientific research
The main objective of the course is to equip learners with skills and knowledge in scientific research design.
At the same time, the course will help students know how to write and publish scientific articles in international journals. The course is expected to take place within 7 days with 23 topics.
Through the course, students will visualize the research model, how to handle research questions, how to title an article, how to write an abstract, how to write an introduction, how to write a method section, etc.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Vy - Director of the Southern Institute for Social Resource Development, the course organizer - said that domestic and foreign experts of the institute will update the latest trends in the field of science and technology.

Relying on AI does not meet ethical standards
Professor Nguyen Van Tuan - world medical expert, director of the Center for Medical Technology at the University of Technology Sydney, main reporter - assessed that Vietnam's scientific productivity has increased very rapidly, the number of scientific articles has doubled, which is a very encouraging trend.
According to Professor Nguyen Van Tuan, the course will provide learners with the necessary knowledge to design a systematic research project that can be published in international journals, prepare articles, and choose journals to publish research results.
"These issues become topical when every year when reviewing the titles of professor and associate professor, there are controversies surrounding scientific articles. I hope that through the course, you will be able to distinguish between legitimate and unofficial journals," said Professor Tuan.
However, Professor Nguyen Van Tuan also said that Vietnam's scientific research productivity is still low compared to other countries in the region. The reason is that there are research topics but the research design is not up to standard and there is also a lack of knowledge on how to prepare them properly to meet the requirements of journals.
"Artificial intelligence (AI) has a huge impact on daily work. If we rely too much on it, it will lead to a situation where we do not meet ethical standards in scientific research," Mr. Tuan added.
