EVNNPT was assigned to implement the transmission project to enhance power security for Bac Ninh province.

The investor implementing the project is the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).

The project has a scale of building a 220kV transformer station (TBA) with a capacity of 2x250MVA (this phase will install 250MVA). Along with that, a new 6-circuit line section (including 4 220kV circuits and 2 110kV circuits) will be built with steel towers connecting to the transition on a 220kV line circuit of Pho Noi 500kV substation - Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant.

The project also builds a central control house, permanent and guard houses, pumping station house, operator rest house, traffic system, auxiliary items, and connecting line system.

The transformer station and connecting line pass through Phu Hoa commune, Luong Tai district, Bac Ninh province and are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The project objective of this project is to meet the electricity supply needs of urban areas, industrial parks of Luong Tai district, Gia Binh district, Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh province and loads in the region.

At the same time, strengthen the connection of regional power systems, improve safety, reliability and stability in the operation of regional and national power systems; reduce power loss on the power transmission grid, increase the efficiency of electricity production and business of EVN and EVNNPT.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigns relevant departments, branches and agencies to guide investors in implementing the project in accordance with regulations based on their functions and tasks.
