Open the door to global study abroad
ISHCMC-AA's AP Diploma Program is designed by the College Board. The program includes 6 majors (Arts, English, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, Science, World Languages and Cultures) and 2 college-level academic skills courses (AP Research and AP Seminar). Throughout the learning process, students are trained in depth with a systematic curriculum taught by a team of highly qualified and dedicated teachers.

Thanks to that, students will be exposed to and cultivate soft skills necessary for university entrance such as critical thinking, learning ability, and time management skills.
"The AP Diploma provides high school students with the opportunity to develop the academic skills needed to succeed in college. The AP Diploma is widely recognized around the world, and the courses taught in the program are equivalent to university level, making their study abroad applications truly stand out," said Dr. Robert Williams, Dean of Academic Affairs at ISHCMC-American Academy.
ISHCMC-AA - an ideal place for young talents to develop
The school representative said that ISHCMC-AA has a large number of students accepted to study at more than 50 universities worldwide and achieved more than 5.5 million USD in scholarships in 2023. That makes the school a suitable choice for students who want to pursue an international education program.
Professional and inspiring international training environment for the young generation
Among the elite individuals of ISHCMC-AA, Tran Le Hai Trieu, a female student of the class of 2023, ended her high school years with a prestigious valedictorian diploma and successfully enrolled in 4 top universities in the US: University of Texas at Austin, UC Irvine, UC San Diego and Drake University (with a scholarship worth 108,000 USD).

As an excellent student of the AP College Preparation Program - not only excelling in most subjects, Trieu also constantly supplements his luggage with impressive extracurricular activities: Organizing the High School Prom, participating in the "All-gender bathroom" project, and fundraising projects as a member of the ISHCMC-AA Student Leadership Council.
"I know the road ahead is never smooth, but I want to walk with all the valuable experiences I have. From small skills such as cultural adaptation, personal time management, discipline to balance between studying and activities to budget management skills, calculating data or being a "locomotive" to steer the project," Trieu confided.
When asked more about his plans and ideals for the future, Trieu expressed: "During my time at school, I really enjoyed listening and sharing the problems my friends were having, so I found Psychology quite suitable for me. With guidance from Mr. Williams and the opportunity to work as an assistant in the school's Psychological Counseling Department, I understand this major better and find it even more attractive."
Trieu found that the spiral of invisible pressures and the “dark” materials of life make our mental health unstable. Meanwhile, the field of Psychology in Vietnam is quite new and most of the experts in the field come from other countries with different understandings of Vietnamese culture and society. That creates a barrier of communication and understanding in the process of listening and healing the psychology of Vietnamese people.
"The path to healing the inner child will always be full of challenges and sometimes leave you overwhelmed with worries. But I hope my sincere support will not make you feel alone when facing psychological crises. We silently accompany each other and help each other receive more positive energy," Trieu shared. This is the ideal she wants to spread widely to everyone and is the motivation for the valedictorian to strive to become a talented psychologist to help the Psychology industry in Vietnam develop more strongly.
The AP Diploma Program, offered by the College Board in the United States, includes college-level courses and exams for high school students.
When enrolled in these courses, students will be required to take the relevant AP exams; receiving an AP certificate upon satisfactory test results. Specific criteria for achieving an AP certificate may vary depending on the school or organization.
