Above, the subtropical high pressure is stable, then weakens; from around December 21-25, high-altitude easterly wind disturbances are likely to form and operate in the southern region.

In particular, in the North and Thanh Hoa , from December 20-22, there will be few clouds, sunny days, no rain at night, some places will have fog in the early morning; from December 23-29, the weather will turn cloudy, with rain in some places. Nghe An and Ha Tinh regions on December 20 will have no rain, light fog in the early morning; from December 21 to 29, scattered rain. Cold weather.

In the Central and South Central regions from December 20-21, there will be rain in some places; from the night of December 21-29, there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially from December 23-25, there will be moderate rain, locally heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms. The area from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue will be cold.

In the Central Highlands and the South from December 20-29, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially from the night of December 23-25, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.
