In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Chinese Teaching will carry out many activities to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City.
Improve the quality of teaching and learning Chinese
Sharing in the program celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Chinese Teaching with the theme "Joining hands to contribute to the development of education" on the morning of November 30, Mr. Co Gia Tho, Chairman of the association, said that in recent times, the unit has continuously made efforts to improve the quality of teaching and learning Chinese through organizing many activities to support teachers, encourage students to "study Vietnamese well - study Chinese well", contributing to language diversity and integration development.
According to Mr. Tho, in the coming time, the association will carry out many activities to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning Chinese in Ho Chi Minh City.
In particular, the association will work with the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City to support the organization of professional training courses for teachers, to improve quality and update advanced teaching methods; apply information technology in teaching, create a more modern and effective learning environment; grant scholarships to students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, and reward teachers to create a positive educational environment, encouraging the spirit of both teachers and students.

In addition, the association will organize many cultural exchange programs to enhance connections and bring joy to teaching and learning Chinese.
During the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Chinese Teaching Support Association donated 50 million VND to the Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Minorities Committee to implement a program to support ethnic minority students in difficult circumstances; donated 248 million VND to the Chinese Teachers' Club to organize activities in 2024-2025; and donated 20 million VND to the O Dan Phat Calligrapher Charity Fund.

At the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Literature Teaching Sponsorship Association received the traditional flag of 35 years of construction and development from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Tang Phuoc Loc, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Committee, said this is a worthy recognition for the association's tireless efforts in educating and protecting cultural heritage.
The Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Ethnic Minorities Committee highly appreciated the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Chinese Teaching in improving the quality of teaching and learning.
"Over the past time, the association has continuously improved the quality of teaching and learning Chinese, while developing generations of talented students, contributing to preserving the fine cultural values of the Chinese people, contributing to the common development, and training high-quality human resources for society," Mr. Loc shared.
Aspiring to establish a "dream school"
Sharing in the program, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Chinese Teaching said that the association's benefactors are developing a project to establish a "dream school", an inter-level general school that teaches Vietnamese, Chinese and English according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training.
This is "the great dream and ambition of members through many generations" and is also one of the association's key activities in the coming time.

Mr. Tho said that with the increase of foreign enterprises and the process of international integration, the demand for recruiting human resources who know Chinese is increasing but the supply is still not enough. Encouraging and creating a favorable environment for learning Chinese will help children develop themselves and make positive contributions to society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tho said that this school is "an urgent need, opening up a hopeful future for both teachers and students".
“We look forward to the support and assistance of agencies, the cooperation of many individuals, philanthropists, Chinese association halls, family temples and social resources,” Mr. Tho expressed.
