Film series to celebrate the Party's founding anniversary and celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024

On January 11, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a decision to organize a Film Festival to celebrate the 94th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024 nationwide from February 3 to 16, 2024.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to preside over and coordinate with film units including: Vietnam Cinema Association Film Studio, HDA Film Company Limited, Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company, Vietnam Animation Film Studio Joint Stock Company, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Film Distribution and Screening Center, Cinema Center, Cultural - Cinema Center, Cultural - Art Center, Cultural Centers of provinces and centrally-run cities to organize the Film Series to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 nationwide.

The films selected for screening this time include: Feature film "Thau Chin in Siam" produced by Vietnam Cinema Association Film Studio.

The documentaries “Hanoi, Capital of Culture” were produced by HDA Film Company Limited; “Road to WTO” was produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company.

The animated films “Dream Sky” and “Dinh Tien Hoang De” are produced by Vietnam Animation Studio Joint Stock Company.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to be responsible for organizing the printing of films and sending them to film units nationwide for public screening during film week.
