Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang inspected and worked in Ba Che district.

On the afternoon of November 3, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 and deployed preparations for the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030 in Ba Che district. Accompanying him were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches of the province.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, directly inspected the damaged forest areas in Ba Che district.

Storm No. 3 caused a lot of damage to people in Ba Che district. Of which, 138 houses had their roofs blown off, 3 houses collapsed; 18,613 hectares of forestry trees of organizations, businesses, and households were damaged, with an estimated damage value of 550 billion VND. Along with that, it caused damage of 90.6 billion VND to construction works, public assets and many other assets. The estimated damage caused by storm No. 3 in Ba Che district is 700 billion VND.

Immediately after the storm, Ba Che district quickly deployed disaster recovery work. Up to now, it has provided financial support to 22 households whose houses were completely unroofed and 3 households whose houses collapsed according to Resolution No. 21/NQ-HDND dated July 16, 2021 and Resolution No. 42/NQ-HDND dated September 23, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council (the households have now repaired their houses); supported 300 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households that suffered damage according to Decision No. 12/QD-MTTQ dated September 17, 2024 of the Provincial Fatherland Front Relief Mobilization Committee; The District People's Committee has reviewed and approved support for 282 households whose forests were damaged, with an area of 1,244 hectares, The support budget is over 4 billion VND. For the remaining households, the district is focusing on directing the commune level, speeding up the process of preparing documents, reviewing and approving, striving to basically complete and disburse the support budget by November 30, 2024.

Directly inspecting the damage caused by storm No. 3 to the planted forest area and families whose houses had their roofs blown off in Ba Che district, the Provincial Party Secretary kindly visited and encouraged the people and businesses whose properties were damaged; requested households and businesses doing forest economy to try to overcome difficulties, the State will consider and study to propose competent authorities to continue to support part of the funding to overcome the damage.

Regarding the preparation for party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, up to now, the Ba Che District Party Executive Committee has issued Plan No. 341-KH/HU dated August 2, 2024 on organizing party congresses at all levels, towards the 26th District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; establishing subcommittees to serve party congresses at all levels; especially preparing well for the personnel work to elect village, hamlet, and neighborhood heads and party cell congresses under the grassroots party committee for the 2025-2027 term.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and encouraged households whose forest land was damaged by storm No. 3.

Working with the Standing Committee of Ba Che District Party Committee, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the spirit and efforts of Ba Che district to overcome difficulties in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, and at the same time actively prepared contents for the organization of Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030.

Highly agreeing with the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Ba Che district to continue to make the greatest efforts in the coming time to complete the targets and goals of 2024 as well as the entire 2020-2025 term. In particular, it is necessary to quickly implement solutions to overcome public investment projects damaged by storms, taking into account factors of climate change; quickly deploy support for people, businesses, and cooperatives damaged after the storm, to soon stabilize their lives and production and business.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, listened to the leaders of Ba Che district report on the plan to build a rigid bridge to replace Khe Put suspension bridge, Thanh Son commune, which was recently damaged by storm No. 3.

As a locality with a majority of ethnic minority people, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Ba Che district to continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Sustainable socio-economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security in communes, villages, and hamlets in ethnic minority, mountainous, border, and island areas for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030"; Resolution No. 17 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building and promoting cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development".

Regarding the preparation for the Party Congress at all levels, the Provincial Party Secretary noted that Ba Che district needs to focus on preparing personnel work and drafting documents. In particular, it is necessary to closely follow the provincial planning orientation and local practices to draft documents for the District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, to create breakthroughs in local development in the coming term.
