On February 5, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee inspected the production situation; visited and encouraged the staff and workers of Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company. Accompanying him were Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, Cam Pha City and leaders of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group.
Deo Nai Mine is one of the oldest coal mines in Quang Ninh Mining Region. Immediately after the Mining Region was liberated (April 25, 1955), Deo Nai Coal Construction Site was one of the first units to return to normal production. Notably, on March 30, 1959, the staff and workers of Deo Nai Coal Construction Site were honored to be visited by Uncle Ho.
Following Uncle Ho's advice, after more than 6 decades of construction and development, the unit's cadres, workers and laborers through successive generations have continuously competed in labor production, with the spirit of "Discipline and Unity", overcoming all difficulties and challenges to excellently complete the goals and tasks contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Visiting the National Historical Site of Uncle Ho's Memorial Site to visit Deo Nai Mine - the place marking the event on March 30, 1959, Deo Nai Mine was honored to welcome Uncle Ho, comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the merits of President Ho Chi Minh.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Quang Ninh province, together with cadres and workers in the coal industry, always keep in mind his words, vowing to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of "Discipline and Unity" of the working class and the homeland of the Heroic Mining Land; unite as one, determined to strive to compete, gain many achievements in labor and production, actively innovate and develop, and build Quang Ninh to become increasingly prosperous as Uncle Ho wished.
Visiting and encouraging the staff and workers of Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company, the Provincial Party Secretary spent time talking with the workers at the mine and working with the Company's leadership. The Provincial Party Secretary congratulated and highly appreciated the Company's achievements in production and business as well as its care for workers over the past years.
In particular, overcoming the difficulties in the early stages of merging Deo Nai Coal Joint Stock Company and Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company in June 2024, in 2024, Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company has completed all production and business tasks. Of which, coal production reached over 1.8 million tons, reaching 102% of the plan; coal consumption also reached over 1.8 million tons, reaching 106% of the plan. The output of earth and rock excavation reached over 18.4 million m3, reaching 100% of the plan. Revenue reached nearly 3,000 billion VND, up 3% compared to the plan; paying the state budget 477 billion VND. The company ensures stable jobs for over 3,600 employees with an average income of over 14 million VND/person/month.
Praising the spirit of effort and endeavor of the staff and workers right in the first days of the spring of At Ty 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that the staff and workers of the Company would continue to promote the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" of the working class in the Mining Region, striving to fully complete the production and business targets of 2025.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in order to achieve the very high growth target set for 2025, along with promoting the development of new sectors, traditional economic sectors such as coal and electricity still play a very important role. With the consistent viewpoint and policy of removing all bottlenecks and barriers to serve development, the province will continue to accompany and support Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company as well as TKV units in the province in completing mining licensing procedures. At the same time, the province directs departments, branches and localities to speed up the progress of site clearance and land allocation for new investment projects of TKV in the area; creating the most favorable conditions for TKV to comprehensively complete production and business targets in 2025.
He also requested Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company and units of TKV Group in the area to continue to pay more attention to environmental protection, contributing with the province to successfully implement the "green" transformation roadmap in the coming period.
