Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (30 years old, in Cao Thang ward, Ha Long city) has just closed an order to transport mai branches from the flower market to Hong Ha ward for 200,000 VND. Mr. Tung said he is a freelancer, single and lives with his mother. Every year, when Tet comes, Mr. Tung goes to this area to deliver goods.

Thanks to his friendly attitude, careful transportation of goods for customers, and his happy acceptance when the homeowner requests to bring them to the upper floors, Mr. Tung is constantly called by shop owners and customers to transport goods.

"Many times, after delivering goods to customers, seeing that my flowers and kumquats were not broken or had many fruits falling off, the customers also gave me extra tips and took my phone number to call if they bought more plants. Therefore, there were times when the owner called me 3-4 times. On average, I earned more than a million VND per day," said Mr. Tung.

At the end of the Tet flower market near the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum and Library, Mr. Bui Van Tuan (51 years old, living in Ha Lam ward, Ha Long city) is also busy with orders to transport kumquat, apricot... Mr. Tuan said that he has been going to the peach, kumquat, and apricot market area to receive goods for customers for nearly ten years. Because he has established relationships with kiosk owners, whenever there are customers, Mr. Tuan is given priority to introduce them. Depending on the transportation route, but on average, Mr. Tuan charges customers from 100-150 thousand VND/trip...

"My wife and I are unemployed, our daily income is quite low, and we have to support two children in college. Therefore, when Tet comes and spring comes like this, earning more than one million VND per day is very precious... Since the beginning of the flower fair, I have spent nearly ten million VND to buy and prepare for Tet and to pay for my children's education," Mr. Tuan boasted.

Standing at the corner of the market, Mr. Dang Van Thoai (in Cao Xanh ward, Ha Long city) was picking up some peach and kumquat trees to throw away. He said that his hometown is Thai Binh province. A few months ago, Mr. Thoai went to Quang Ninh to work as a construction worker. It was almost Tet, while others were returning to their hometowns, Mr. Thoai heard that working as a driver at the flower market would earn him extra income. So a few days ago, Mr. Thoai came here to join the motorbike taxi team delivering peach and kumquat trees...

"Because I was new to the place and didn't know any of the kiosk owners, the first day I earned 300,000 VND. The second day I earned nearly 400,000 VND. Seeing some abandoned peach and kumquat trees here with no customers, I picked one to bring home to have a Tet atmosphere," said Mr. Thoai.
