On the afternoon of October 24, the Steering Committee of the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Dak Lak Province in 2024 held a dialogue conference with the theme "Arousing confidence, creating local advantages, innovation, promoting economic development, ensuring social security in ethnic minority and mountainous areas". Comrade Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.

Delegates ask questions at the dialogue conference
At the conference, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches focused on discussing and answering questions from delegates on three main groups of issues: Maximizing all social resources, integrating target programs for investment in socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas and areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions in the process of implementing new rural construction; Developing human resources of ethnic minorities and cadres working in ethnic affairs at all levels and branches in the locality in recent times in meeting the requirements and responsibilities to implement the policies of the Party and State for ethnic minority areas; Mobilizing and promoting the role of prestigious people to serve socio-economic development, ensuring security and order in ethnic minority areas.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thien Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the dialogue conference between provincial leaders and delegates attending the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Dak Lak province in 2024 is an opportunity to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, proposals and recommendations of the delegates, from which the provincial leaders promptly answer and remove difficulties and obstacles and issue appropriate policies and solutions for ethnic minority areas, especially the work of hunger eradication, poverty reduction, improving people's knowledge, improving material and spiritual life, contributing to maintaining security, order and social safety, building and consolidating a strong political system at the grassroots level.
Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development discussed the implementation of the project to arrange and settle spontaneous migrants in Dak Nue and Dak Phoi communes, Lak district.
The conference received 26 questions from delegates focusing on groups of issues including: 6 opinions related to the regime and policies for prestigious people; 9 opinions related to the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; 04 opinions related to social security policies; 04 opinions related to the field of Commune and District Civil Service Establishment; the fields of Education and Training; Land and New Rural Areas, each field has 01 opinion.

In addition to the direct responses, there are still unresolved issues related to the difficulties, problems, and recommendations of the delegates. It is recommended that departments, branches, and sectors continue to research and complete the content to answer the wishes of the delegates and send written responses to localities with specific instructions on related issues.
