On the afternoon of October 8, the Provincial Business Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024) and honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs in 2024. Comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry - VCCI; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation of the province, departments, branches and localities attended and congratulated.

The delegates reviewed the proud tradition of the industrial and commercial sector, enterprises, and businessmen and reviewed the development process of Thai Binh enterprises. If in 2004, the whole province had only 1,500 enterprises, by 2024 it had increased to 11,269 enterprises, creating jobs for more than 310,000 workers. Of the total domestic state budget revenue of the whole province of more than 11,500 billion VND, the business community contributed more than 62%. Businessmen and enterprises have enthusiastically implemented social security policies, humanitarian charity, becoming a cultural beauty of Thai Binh enterprises and businessmen.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, the leaders of the Provincial Business Association called on the business community and enterprises of the province to join hands and unite with the Party Committee, government and people in the province to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals in 2024 and the following years.

Recognizing and appreciating the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to the socio-economic development of the province over the past 20 years, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee presented the Provincial Business Association with a banner with the content "Solidarity - Development - Breakthrough success".

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the businessmen in the province and affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee in recent years have always paid attention to accompanying, supporting, respecting the contributions and highly appreciating the role of businessmen and enterprises; considering the team of businessmen and enterprises of the province as the sustainable foundation for the economic development of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary summarized the development of all aspects of the provincial business community with 6 lessons and experiences, emphasizing: Promoting the traditions and achievements of previous generations, there are more and more pioneering entrepreneurs in implementing the guidelines, policies, laws of the Party, the State, and the province with many specific, practical, and effective actions and deeds, creating positive changes. In difficulties, the business community in the province is more united, complies with and fully implements the directions of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels. The province's businessmen are always dedicated and attached to their homeland, taking the interests of the province and the common interests as the criteria for action.

Thai Binh is striving to become a developed province in the Red River Delta region. To realize that aspiration, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that, in addition to the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels, the participation of the government, the support and consensus of the people, the team of businesses and entrepreneurs in the province will continue to accompany the development of the province to effectively implement socio-economic development programs and plans. Further promote the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance and self-reliance; proactively innovate production and business models, improve productivity, capacity and competitiveness; invest more in technology, high-quality human resources, restructure enterprises associated with digital transformation, innovation and creativity to find opportunities in the context of many current challenges. Strengthen research, grasp development trends, integrate into the international economy, actively form joint ventures, associations, expand markets, and move towards participating in the global value chain.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Business Association to continue to lead enterprises and entrepreneurs in the province to actively participate with Party committees and authorities at all levels in building and perfecting mechanisms and policies to support and encourage production and business development, reform administrative procedures, improve the investment and business environment, and accompany the province in attracting investment in economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, etc. Actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, continue to demonstrate social responsibility, carry out well social security work, hunger eradication and poverty reduction programs, and gratitude programs, etc., contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of people in the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the provincial leaders will continue to accompany, support, and create all conditions to build a team of businesses and entrepreneurs in the province to increasingly become the pillars and mainstay of the provincial economy, increasingly worthy of being the hope for the comprehensive and sustainable development of the province in the coming years.

On this occasion, the Provincial Business Association organized a ceremony to honor and award certificates of merit from the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises - VCCI and the Provincial People's Committee to 61 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese business community and the socio-economic development of the province. 90 million VND was awarded to support the provincial fund for the poor, the provincial fund for victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, the provincial fund for the disabled and protection of children's rights.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Business Association offered flowers and incense to express gratitude and report achievements at the Provincial Martyrs' Temple.
