Taking advantage of opportunities from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), enterprises in the province have invested in technological innovation, improving workers' skills and strictly implementing the regulations of the agreements to expand export markets.

Currently, Vietnam has signed and implemented 19 bilateral and multilateral FTAs with most major economies in the world. Of these, 16 FTAs have come into effect with more than 60 partners, covering all continents, making Vietnam one of the leading countries in the region in participating in economic cooperation frameworks.
Implementing Resolution No. 22 of the Politburo on International Integration, Vinh Phuc has proactively specified the requirements of FTAs through the issuance of programs and plans to implement the agreements. Thereby helping businesses expand and diversify export products and participate more deeply in the global supply chain.
Pavana Technology Joint Stock Company (Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park) was established in 2011, specializing in designing and manufacturing security cameras and is invested by three strategic shareholders including CNCTech, MKgroup and Sky Light.
Recently, the company has received orders to design and manufacture cameras in markets such as the US, Japan and Europe. In the domestic market, the company is focusing on designing camera products with new features, creating competition in product quality.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, CEO of the company, said that to increase the competitiveness of products to meet the FTA commitment, the company has applied international standard FDO technology to produce smart security cameras with high safety; gathered about 30 experienced engineers who have worked for large corporations and technology companies to perform full-package services from design - structure, electronic circuit board design to software development and cloud applications.
Recently, the company cooperated with MK Vision Company to launch “Security camera equipment and solutions Made in Vietnam”. This equipment set includes 15 camera models with diverse product lines, meeting the needs of households, businesses and government agencies.

To continue taking advantage of the incentives from the FTA, in addition to improving the skills of workers, the company has signed a cooperation agreement with VinCSS Cyber Security Services Joint Stock Company - one of the pioneering enterprises in the world in researching, developing and commercializing FDO technology to create smart camera products "Make in Vietnam", with global quality.
As a company operating in the fertilizer industry, An Hung Production, Trade and Investment Company Limited (Dong Soc Industrial Park - Vinh Tuong) is supplying over 30 product lines to the market, with an average output of 40,000 tons/year, creating stable jobs for more than 100 workers.
The company's representative leader said: Thanks to the "catalyst" from the FTA, in addition to being present in the Northern, Central and Central Highlands provinces, with nearly 100 agents and distributors, the company's fertilizer products are exported to Korea.
To continue expanding production scale and exporting from 2,000 tons - 3,000 tons of organic fertilizer/month to foreign countries, the company continues to invest in modern production lines and equipment, research and develop new types of fertilizers to meet market demands.
Thanks to taking advantage of opportunities from FTAs, the province's total import-export turnover in the first quarter of 2023 is estimated to reach 5 billion USD, an increase of nearly 15% over the same period.
Of which, export turnover is estimated at more than 2.1 billion USD, up 35.8% over the same period, ranking 10th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide, and 4th out of 11 provinces in the Red River Delta.
In the first 6 months of 2023 alone, the province's total export turnover is estimated at nearly 7 billion USD, up 5.45% over the same period. Export markets in more than 40 countries and territories with key products such as motorcycle and electronic components; auto parts; electronics and electronic components; textiles, etc.
To help businesses proactively integrate, in the coming time, the province will continue to organize training courses and seminars to help businesses better grasp knowledge about international economic integration, especially the contents of rules of origin, commitments to open markets in new generation FTAs and orientation of integration work in each specific field.
Innovate trade promotion programs, connect domestic and foreign supply and demand in the online environment; apply information technology in the fields of management and supervision of import and export goods to reduce time and costs for businesses; connect and integrate the provision of online public services, synchronize with the development of digital government, digital economy, digital society to create favorable conditions for business investment activities of businesses.
Along with that, enterprises also proactively learn about the commitments of FTAs; improve competitiveness through applying standards, techniques, and complying with regulations of partner markets; build brands, position products in each segment, apply advanced technology in processing, packaging, and preserving products; apply technology to production, management, and build business strategies.
