On August 23, the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province on thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values in the province, led by Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, conducted supervision in Dong Trieu town. Accompanying were leaders of relevant departments, branches and Dong Trieu town.

Currently, in Dong Trieu town, there are 128 relics and scenic spots, of which 30 relics have been ranked ; 98 relics have been inventoried, classified and included in the management list. In order to strengthen the management of cultural heritage in the area, Dong Trieu town has issued documents to direct the implementation of state management work associated with the preservation and promotion of the value of historical-cultural relics, scenic spots associated with tourism development. In addition, directing departments, offices, agencies, units, People's Committees of communes and wards to propagate and strictly implement legal documents related to the management of relics, cultural history, and scenic spots in the town.

The work of maintaining, embellishing and restoring relics is regularly directed by the Town. In the period from 2018-2024, the town has 34 relics that have been invested in planning, establishing projects for restoration and embellishment; investing in the traffic system, lighting and promoting the value from the state budget and socialized capital with a total cost of over 2,100 billion VND.
In particular, in 2023-2024, during the process of building the Yen Tu dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition as a world heritage site, Dong Trieu town actively coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units of the province to provide documents to build the dossier and promote and introduce Tran Dynasty relic sites in Dong Trieu; prepare conditions to welcome the ICOMOS expert delegation to the field to appraise the nomination dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex.

Supervising and surveying the An Sinh Temple, Thai Mieu of Tran Dynasty, Ngoa Van Pagoda, Ho Thien Pagoda, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation emphasized that the system of relics and scenic spots in Dong Trieu town, especially the relics in the Tran Dynasty National Special Relic Complex in Dong Trieu, have invaluable historical value. Therefore, preserving and promoting the value of this relic complex is very important in educating traditions as well as developing the local socio-economy.

He suggested that Dong Trieu Town and relevant departments and branches continue to review and collect historical documents related to the relics. On that basis, edit and supplement the contents of the introduction to the relics; ensure that when people and tourists come to visit and worship, they correctly understand the historical and cultural values of each relic. This is also one of the very important issues to further promote the value of existing relics. At the same time, on the basis of maximizing the value of natural landscapes and cultural-historical values, the Town will study and build new tourist routes. Thereby, creating more attractive tourism products for tourists, creating new development momentum for the tourism industry, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the locality.
