About 30 large-displacement motorbikes entered the Bac Giang - Lang Son highway. When discovered by traffic police, some of them fled, including one that hit a soldier.
At 9:00 a.m. on August 26, while on duty at the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway toll station, the working group of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 2 (Team 2, Traffic Police Department) discovered a convoy of large-displacement motorbikes illegally entering the expressway.
When the task force signaled to stop, many people drove away through Tan Hung commune, Lang Giang district (Bac Giang) to get off the highway.
While fleeing, a car crashed straight into Major Vu Thanh Tung, the leader of the working group, causing this soldier to be slightly injured.

By 2:30 p.m. the same day, the traffic police had detained more than 10 large-displacement motorbikes. Camera footage at the toll station showed that the convoy consisted of about 30 vehicles with license plates from many provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, etc.
According to the statements of some people in the group, at around 6am the same day, the group gathered in Long Bien district (Hanoi) to go out to Lang Son.

Authorities continue to coordinate with police in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces to search for the remaining people and clarify the incident.
