Currently, Ninh Thuan has identified and announced the decision to recognize 12 special products; 182 OCOP products of 81 entities, of which 152 products have achieved 3 stars, 30 products have achieved 4 stars, 2 products are assessed as having 5-star potential. Support the establishment of 11 points for displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products, special products of the province.
Comrades: Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Movement Steering Committee; Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Movement Steering Committee chaired the forum.
At the forum, consumers expressed their agreement and support for organizing the forum to bring the voice of consumers to businesses, and expressed many opinions such as: Improving the packaging design of Ninh Thuan OCOP products, products should have their origin and expiry date written on them for easy reading and recognition; establishing a Consumer Rights Protection Association; strictly managing products on e-commerce platforms to avoid counterfeit and poor quality goods; needing to control the cultivation process and manage output products; encouraging and supporting organic farmers; strictly controlling and managing functional foods to ensure consumer rights. In addition, many businesses also suggested that there should be policies and mechanisms to contribute to promoting the development of special products and OCOP products of Ninh Thuan province.

Concluding the forum, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Steering Committee of the Campaign should step up propaganda and promotion of special products and OCOP products on the media, and promptly advise the province to establish an Association for the Protection of Consumer Rights; strengthen inspection and control of counterfeit and poor quality goods, including on e-commerce platforms; have a plan to implement the purchase and use of Vietnamese goods in public investment and public procurement; the Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to continue to expand the points of sale of special products and OCOP products combined with tourism; the Department of Information and Communications synthesizes and collects consumers' opinions on OCOP products and special products of the province through social networking platforms to grasp consumers' thoughts and aspirations.
