Expanding the number of universities that accept the V-SAT exam

Accordingly, the National Testing and Education Quality Assessment Center is the unit that provides the test question bank, organization software and coordinates to support universities in organizing. Up to now, it is expected that 18 university training units will sign a cooperation agreement to organize the test and share the results of the V-SAT exam for the 2025 enrollment year.

Specifically, the 2 universities include: Thai Nguyen University, Duy Tan University. Other universities and academies include: Saigon University, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, University of Finance and Marketing, Open University of Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Vinh University, University of Economics and Finance of Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Yen University of Technical Education, Van Lang University, Dong Thap University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Tra Vinh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Lac Hong University, Hanoi University of Construction, Banking Academy.

What's new in the 2025 V-SAT?

At the meeting, Mr. Ha Xuan Thanh shared the latest information related to the test content, test format structure, and test format of the V-SAT test for 2025. Accordingly, the test has been adjusted to be more suitable for the assessment of high school students' abilities according to the 2018 General Education Program.

The V-SAT is designed to assess candidates' abilities for university admission purposes. Initially, the test included 7 subjects corresponding to 7 subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, English, which were organized on computers in the form of objective tests. From 2025, the test will include literature in the form of a combination of objective tests and essay writing on computers. Candidates can choose at least 1/8 subjects depending on their admission wishes according to the majors of the admission unit.

The exam is organized in the form of a computer-based test lasting 90 minutes for math and literature and 60 minutes for the remaining subjects. The 4 types of questions in the exam include: True/false multiple choice questions; 4-choice objective multiple choice questions; multiple choice combined questions; short answer or essay multiple choice questions.

If you answer 1/4 of the sub-questions correctly, you get 1 point, if you answer 2/4 of the sub-questions correctly, you get 2 points, if you answer 3/4 of the sub-questions correctly, you get 3 points, if you answer 4/4 of the sub-questions correctly, you get 6 points.

For 4-choice multiple choice questions, each correct answer is worth 6 points. For multiple choice questions, each question consists of 4 sub-questions, each correct answer is worth 6 points. For short answer multiple choice questions, each correct answer is worth 6 points. For literature essays, follow the marking instructions and marking answer key, the maximum score is 30/150 points.
