Thousands of students attended the program, many of whom were still wondering and asking questions about the Ministry of Education and Training's decision to eliminate the early admission method, while tightening the admission process based on high school transcripts and converting foreign language certificate scores according to the requirements of each university and college in the 2025 admission regulations.
Pham Hong Khanh, class 12D6, Dong My High School ( Hanoi ) shared that the removal of the direct admission method made him feel confused and worried about whether he would be confident enough to take the high school graduation exam and get the score to enter the right school and major that he wanted.
Many students are concerned about choosing a major and career so that they have wide job opportunities after graduation.

Many students are concerned about choosing a major and career. |
At the program, Ms. Hoang Thuy Nga, senior expert, Department of HigherEducation (Ministry of Education and Training) affirmed: "Students should not worry when the Ministry of Education and Training stops early admission. In fact, early admission only helps students know whether they are qualified for admission or not, but cannot decide the entire opportunity to enter university. The most important thing is that students need to focus all their time and energy on the graduation exam to get the admission results."
Don't be subjective in semester II
According to Ms. Nga, this year's 2025 enrollment regulations have new regulations on considering transcripts, requiring training institutions to use all 12th grade learning results. This is one of the important changes, so students need to be well prepared, not subjective, and negligent throughout the learning process.
Especially in the last months of this school year, students studying seriously will help them have good academic results, and at the same time not miss the opportunity when registering for high school transcript consideration.
Another point to note is that the conversion of foreign language certificates will no longer be uniform, but each school will have its own regulations. Therefore, Ms. Nga advises students to proactively find out information from schools about the requirements for their foreign language certificates, to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
Regarding career choices, according to Ms. Nga, students need to choose a major first, then a school. To find a suitable study and career path, students must clearly understand their interests, abilities, and what they want.
When choosing a school, you must first choose a major, see if that major is suitable for you, then consider finding out which schools offer that major and what future job opportunities are available to make your choice.
Ms. Nga also noted that the success of young people does not depend on which school or major they study in, the important factor is whether their ability after graduation meets the requirements. Therefore, when applying for admission, students should carefully research information about training institutions, admission information related to the training profession, job positions, and standard output and input of the industry to best meet their own desires and abilities.
The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will take place on June 26-27 with approximately 1 million candidates taking the exam. At this time, schools are in the "acceleration" phase for students to review and prepare for the exam to obtain graduation results and university admissions.
