A social media account recently posted a request for a motorbike taxi driver to return the money that his sister mistakenly transferred from 71,000 VND to 71 million VND.
According to the person posting on social media, on the afternoon of March 15, this person’s sister booked a Grab ride from Gateway A to Ba Ria (in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). The fare for the trip was 71,000 VND, but due to being in a hurry, the passenger mistakenly changed it to 71 million VND (71,000,000 VND).

After discovering the incident, the passenger contacted the driver to resolve the matter, but the driver hung up immediately. The poster said that he had contacted Grab to intervene, but was unsuccessful because the driver had locked his phone.
Therefore, the poster called on the online community if anyone knows the driver or has related information, to advise the driver to return the mistakenly transferred money as soon as possible. This person said that he would wait within 2 days, if the driver did not contact him, he would ask for the intervention of the police.
We will continue to monitor the case to keep readers informed.
