On August 30, the Hanoi Youth Union signed an agreement with Hyratek and Qualcomm to implement the project of restoring martyrs' photos. Accordingly, Qualcomm, the Red Flower volunteer group and Hyratek will support the AI system and infrastructure in image processing along with providing necessary techniques.
Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi Student Association Nguyen Tien Hung said that the companionship and support of Hyratek and Qualcomm played an important role in accelerating the progress and quality of the "Restoring martyrs' photos" project; contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of the project in educating patriotism, national pride and gratitude for the young generation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, CEO of Hyratek, affirmed that Hyratek is committed to working with strategic partner Qualcomm to apply AI infrastructure technology and edge computing technology to serve the community and society, typically supporting the Hanoi Youth Union in this meaningful project of restoring martyrs' photos, contributing to preserving the nation's precious historical values.
The project to restore martyrs' photos organized by the City Youth Union is considered a very meaningful social project, demonstrating the practical application of AI and life. Qualcomm is ready to accompany and support the project and believes that this cooperation will bring positive results to the community, helping to recreate the portraits of heroic martyrs in a realistic and vivid way - Mr. Thieu Phuong Nam, General Director of Qualcomm Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand shared.
The project to restore martyrs' photos by the Hanoi Youth Union was launched in May 2024 with the desire to express gratitude and promote the role and responsibility of the capital's youth towards the heroic generations who heroically sacrificed to protect the country and build national independence and freedom. Up to now, the project has received the attention and registration of more than 1,200 families and relatives with the desire to receive the most intact and authentic images of the martyrs. The project aims to restore all photos registered by families of martyrs' relatives in the capital with an expected need to restore 3,000 - 5,000 photos.
