According to Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi Nguyen Duc Tien, the 7th Congress of the Hanoi Youth Union took place over 2 days on October 14 and 15, 2024 with the presence of 400 official delegates.
With the spirit of Patriotism - Pioneering - Exemplary - Solidarity - Creativity - Reaching out, the Congress conducted consultations to elect 69 members of the new Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Youth Union of the Capital, contributing to building a rich, civilized and modern Capital and country; building a generation of youth in the Capital: Firm courage, civilized behavior, law-abiding, rich in knowledge, abundant health, proficient skills; worthy of the expectations and trust of the Party, government, people of the City and the expectations of the young generation of Vietnam; worthy of the teaching of beloved Uncle Ho "For all tasks, the youth of the Capital must set an example for the youth of the whole country".
On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's traditional day, to recognize the contributions of the Union's officials with outstanding achievements in the Union's work and the capital's youth movement in 2024, the Hanoi Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union decided to award the "October 15" prize to 16 Union officials with many outstanding achievements in the Union's work and the youth movement in 2024.
At the same time, the Vietnam Youth Union of the City also awarded the "Beautiful Youth" award at the city level to 6 young people in the capital. This is an annual award given to exemplary young people who have jobs, noble deeds, and humanity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing difficulties with the community, transmitting positive energy to the community - especially young people.
