Promote responsibility, be exemplary, practice what you preach
Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality are the crystallization of the fine traditions of our nation and the cultural quintessence of humanity, the invaluable spiritual asset of our Party and people; a shining example for all Vietnamese people to learn and follow. In order to make the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people imbued with and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example, on November 7, 2006, the Politburo issued Directive No. 06-CT/TW on organizing the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example". Then on May 14, 2011, our Party issued Directive No. 03-CT/TW on "Continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" and Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle". Up to now, our entire Party, people and army are implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on "continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is of great significance in the current work of Party building and rectification, especially in building the Party's cadre team. Because as Uncle Ho said, "Cadres are the root of all work" and cadres and party members must always be exemplary. Learning from Uncle Ho, Party committees, cadres, party members, heads of agencies, units and localities must fulfill their responsibility of setting an example. Learning from Uncle Ho is done through specific daily actions and deeds with the motto "above first, below later", "inside first, outside later", "studying goes hand in hand with following". The higher the position of cadres, the more exemplary they must be in cultivating and training their moral qualities, lifestyle, style, working manners and methods for the masses to follow; must demonstrate steadfast political will, correct ideology, moral qualities, pure lifestyle, dare to think, dare to do, dare to break through, be creative, dare to take responsibility, for the common good, devoted to the country and the people; have a scientific, democratic leadership style, close to reality, truly be the nucleus of solidarity, gathering, creating motivation and promoting collective intelligence.
The most important thing in studying and following Uncle Ho is to promote "practice and words go hand in hand", each cadre and party member must "self-reflect" and "self-correct", if there is anything good, promote it, if there is something wrong, correct it, and with the Party, we must constantly build and rectify the Party, building goes hand in hand with fighting. Each cadre and Party cell that is truly clean will enhance the leadership, governing capacity and fighting power of the Party and if the Party is truly strong, our Party will maintain its leadership role, and the revolutionary cause of the nation will reach the shore of victory.
Learning and following Uncle Ho is associated with carrying out political tasks, campaigns, and patriotic emulation movements.
Realizing that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle have important meanings and roles in social life, in recent years, the Tam Diep City Party Committee has promptly issued documents to lead and direct the organization of studying, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Politburo's Directives and Conclusions. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has directed that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle be associated with implementing the Party's 13th National Congress's full-term theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle on self-reliance, self-strengthening and aspiration for developing a prosperous and happy country" and the annual theme of the Province and City become an important content of Party building and rectification work.
Party committees and authorities at all levels have innovated leadership, direction and management methods in the direction of ensuring "clear work, clear people, clear results, clear time, clear responsibilities"; promoting the responsibility of leaders, improving the capacity to perform public duties in conjunction with strengthening inspection and supervision, focusing on 3 key issues: Proactively and resolutely implementing tasks and solutions to mobilize diverse resources, creating motivation to contribute to helping the city overcome difficulties and successfully carry out political tasks; Strongly promoting the spirit of solidarity, effort, responsibility, ethics and enthusiasm of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees on the basis of closely following the principles, regulations and working rules according to the motto "Maintaining discipline, enhancing responsibility, innovation, creativity, efficiency and substance"; Continue to innovate the direction and management methods in the direction of closely following the grassroots, grasping the situation, directing decisively, having no forbidden areas, not being afraid of collisions, promptly and effectively resolving complicated and long-standing cases that cause public outrage, ensuring security and order, maintaining stability to build and develop the city.
The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city have focused on guiding and mobilizing union members, association members, and people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns such as: Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; Supporting the gratitude and social security fund; Tam Diep youth studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; Women actively studying, working creatively, building happy families; People's Public Security strictly obeying orders, building a cultural lifestyle to serve the people...
Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the implementation of political tasks, campaigns and patriotic emulation movements has contributed to creating a clear change in the successful implementation of the city's political tasks in recent years.
Deeply engrave Uncle Ho's teachings
Exactly 65 years ago, on March 15, 1959, the Party Committee and people of Khanh Cu commune, Yen Khanh district were extremely honored to welcome Uncle Ho to visit and encourage the cadres, soldiers and people of Khanh Cu to dig ditches to fight drought. Uncle kindly advised the people to "try to build irrigation to get water to save tens of thousands of hectares of rice and plow the remaining area". Before saying goodbye, Uncle also awarded the leaders of Khanh Cu commune 5 badges to reward individuals with outstanding achievements in fighting drought.
The thoughtful teachings and profound memories of Uncle Ho became the guiding principle for all actions of the Party Committee and the People of Khanh Cu commune in carrying out the revolutionary tasks in the next stages, building the homeland to develop more and more. During the years of the resistance war against the US to save the country; the Party Committee and the People of Khanh Cu commune promoted the strength of great solidarity, strived to compete, built a new cultural life, built a cooperative movement, promoted increased production, practiced thrift, fought and produced at the same time, contributed human and material resources to support the great frontline in the South with the spirit of "not a pound of rice is missing, not a soldier is missing". The whole commune raised the movements of "Youth three ready", "Women three responsibilities", good production, good fighting and good combat service. Thereby contributing to the great victory of the resistance war to liberate the nation and unify the country.
Through 27 Congresses, the Party Committee of the commune has always proposed correct resolutions, guidelines and policies, in accordance with the requirements of leadership in implementing the political tasks of the commune in each period, in order to promote potentials and strengths, creating comprehensive changes in construction and development. In particular, in recent years, with the efforts of the Party Committee and people, Khanh Cu commune has been recognized as a commune meeting new rural standards (NTM) in 2015, reaching high NTM standards in 2021, contributing with the whole district to build Yen Khanh district to meet NTM and advanced NTM standards towards building a model NTM district. Many cultural works, public welfare, schools, medical stations, power grids, and traffic systems have been renovated and upgraded in a modern, standard direction; the appearance of the countryside has changed a lot; culture - society has made a lot of progress, the rate of poor households has decreased rapidly and sustainably; the material and spiritual life of the people has improved.
Continue to bring the study of Uncle Ho into depth
In recent times, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has become a movement that has spread widely to all cadres, party members and the masses.
To further promote "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", we must continue to raise awareness of local Party committees and authorities, especially the heads and leaders of agencies and units. We must clearly recognize the position and role of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" in the new conditions. Raise the sense of responsibility of cadres, party members and people, and link studying and following Uncle Ho with daily work. Continue to play a good role as an exemplary person, first of all, the heads and key leaders at all levels need to set an example in daily work, in implementing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, in life, in their relationships with cadres, party members and the people. Replicate good models and effective practices of typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
Each cadre, party member, and citizen needs to continue to strive harder, multiplying the good things, so that our entire nation is "a beautiful flower forest", building and developing the country, spreading and contributing to making Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style increasingly permeate, truly becoming a solid spiritual foundation in social life.
