The conference focused on disseminating and raising awareness of leaders, managers, and press workers on implementing the Party's policies and orientations on press and publishing work; digitalization in press work; strengthening the implementation of regulations on journalistic ethics and building a cultural environment in press agencies.

Speaking at the conference, journalist Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized: "Professional ethics is the foundation for every journalist. But to clearly distinguish right from wrong in actual professional activities is not easy. Handling violations of professional ethics can sometimes be more difficult than handling violations of the law because it is relatively abstract."
“Therefore, from this perspective, I think that first of all, leaders and managers must have a solution to manage reporters in a harmonious way. It must create conditions for journalists to complete their tasks well, while also sharing difficulties and resolving sensitive issues that journalists may encounter during their work,” journalist Nguyen Duc Loi shared.
At the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized the role of press conferences, creating conditions for exchanging and drawing experiences in the process of working. In the coming time, press units in the Academy system need to focus on implementing the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, closely following the political tasks of the Academy and the governing body.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Academy for press activities; strengthened the building of a team of leaders, managers, editors and specialists of press agencies to meet the requirements of the task. Also at the conference, delegates discussed and clarified issues on digital transformation in journalism; Planning for national press development and management to 2025. Accordingly, the digital transformation goal by 2025 is for 70% of press agencies to put content on digital platforms.
Strive for 50% of press agencies to use centralized data analysis and processing platforms, applying artificial intelligence to optimize operations; 80% of press agencies to operate a converged newsroom model; 100% of journalism universities to update their knowledge and skills in the digital journalism environment...
