TPO - Being an imported flower, the winter peach tree impresses with its clusters of plump, red fruit growing densely on the branches. This year, the Hanoi market has seen the appearance of fresh winter peach trees crafted from driftwood, which are being sold for hundreds of millions of dong.

Unique peach blossoms are flooding the streets of Hanoi, some pots costing hundreds of millions of dong still attract customers.

At the Tet flower market on Pham Hung Street (Hanoi), a stall selling imported peach blossoms appeared, attracting customers to shop and visit.

Different from the brilliant beauty of traditional peach blossoms, winter peaches impress with clusters of plump, red fruit growing densely on the branches. Currently, the lowest price is for miniature winter peach pots, bonsai for the table from 3 - 7 million VND/pot, larger pots cost several tens of millions of VND/pot. Notably, some high-end pots are meticulously made with many sophisticated designs that can cost up to hundreds of millions of VND.

The bright red color of peach blossoms is believed by many to bring joy, luck, prosperity and fortune during the New Year.

Ms. Huyen, the stall owner, said: "The shop has been open for sale for more than 10 days now and has attracted a lot of customers who are curious about whether these plants are real or fake. Many people are surprised when each flower pot costs from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of VND."

To have a beautiful and satisfactory pot of winter peach, you must be very careful and meticulous from planting to transporting, to avoid breaking branches or dropping fruit, losing shape and beauty.

According to traders at the flower market, winter peach trees have appeared in Vietnam for many years, but mainly in fresh or dried branches. This year, winter peach trees grown in pots have just been imported.

The artisans also skillfully create small green trees or miniature landscapes for decoration, enhancing aesthetics, serving the diverse needs of customers.
