Dak Lak welcomes more than 700,000 tourists in the first quarter of 2025

On April 10, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that thanks to the right investment resources, the province's tourism infrastructure system has had positive changes, contributing to renewing the appearance of destinations and attracting more and more domestic and foreign tourists to the province.

In particular, through a series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory (March 10, 1975), the liberation of Dak Lak province and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival are outstanding highlights, contributing to attracting a large number of tourists to the locality in recent times.

Traditional cultural activities of ethnic minorities in the province always attract the attention of tourists.

Thanks to that, in the first quarter of 2025, Dak Lak province welcomed more than 700,000 tourists, including 683,500 domestic visitors (up 81.34% over the same period in 2024) and 16,500 international visitors (up 104.31%).

This result reflects the continuous efforts in product innovation and deep exploitation of the Central Highlands cultural identity to develop sustainable tourism.

The gong performance activity for the people and tourists organized by the Dak Lak Provincial Culture and Tourism Center attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate in the exchange.

In 2025, Dak Lak province's tourism industry aims to welcome about 1.6 million visitors, including 50,000 international visitors, and strives to achieve total revenue of VND1,350 billion.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province participated in promoting tourism at the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2025 held in Hanoi from April 10 to 14.

To achieve the set goals, from now until the end of 2025, Dak Lak province will continue to promote tourism image through many unique activities.

Highlights include gong performances held twice a month; hosting regional and national sports tournaments; and investing in new tourism products to enhance experiences and retain visitors for the long term.

In addition, the province will continue to diversify products and improve service quality to create momentum for economic development and contribute positively to the local budget.
