According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism, the Da Nang tourism introduction program with the theme: Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience will introduce special festivals, events, new products, services and attractive special incentive packages for domestic and international tourists in 2025.

The Da Nang 2025 tourism stimulus program includes two special programs. In particular, the program "Enjoy Da Nang - Many experiences" with campaigns from now until the end of the year includes: "Celebrate National Day September 2" campaign and "Welcome Christmas - Welcome New Year 2026" campaign.

Besides, there is the program "I love Da Nang - I love Da Nang" with gifts and incentives to attract international visitors to return to Da Nang from 2020.

To ensure the quality of the stimulus programs, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that the Department of Tourism will publish a list of participating units so that tourists can easily find information and give feedback, thereby improving service quality.

Affirming Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination

In order to enhance the promotion of tourism potential, the People's Committee of Ha Giang province organized a forum to promote tourism, Ha Giang - Asia's leading regional cultural destination.

According to Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha, in recent years, Ha Giang tourism has increasingly attracted the attention of domestic and foreign tourists. Ha Giang is regularly on the list of ideal destinations voted by prestigious travel magazines around the world. The New York Times (USA) ranked Ha Giang in the list of the most attractive destinations in the world. In 2023, Ha Giang was honored by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as: Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination in 2023. By 2024, Ha Giang will become Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination.

At the forum, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu said that in recent times, with its relentless efforts to promote tourism, Ha Giang is emerging as a regional and world-class destination.

In order for Ha Giang tourism to develop further, Mr. Ha Van Sieu suggested that Ha Giang tourism workers need to continue to innovate and find unique products to attract tourists. In addition, Ha Giang needs to strengthen tourism promotion activities effectively, thereby spreading the image of Ha Giang to tourists, especially international tourists.

Sharing at the forum, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh said that in order to move towards sustainable development, Ha Giang tourism industry needs to follow the trend of digital transformation and green transformation. “The tourism products that Ha Giang builds in the coming time must become green tourism products. Green is associated with the value of the product, to bring peace of mind and safety to tourists” - Mr. Vu The Binh said.

At the forum, delegates enthusiastically discussed Ha Giang's tourism advantages and potentials, challenges and opportunities for sustainable tourism development, and specific actions to be taken in the coming time.
