Speaking at the Forum, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed that Ha Giang is a land of special values, where majestic nature blends with the unique cultural identity of ethnic minorities, where the community unites to preserve and promote the vibrant heritages in the middle of the forest. Ha Giang owns many unique destinations such as Lung Cu Flagpole, Dong Van, Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Hoang Su Phi, Tu San Gorge... along with the diverse cultures of 19 ethnic groups. Ha Giang is not only honored by the World Tourism Organization as Asia's Leading Cultural Destination, but is also gradually affirming its position as a destination of national and regional stature.

Ha Giang is regularly listed as an ideal destination by prestigious travel magazines around the world. The New York Times (USA) has ranked Ha Giang among the most attractive destinations in the world. Ha Giang was honored by the World Travel Awards (WTA) as: Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination in 2023; Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination in 2024. In 2024, it welcomed over 3.2 million visitors.

In order for tourism to develop further, Mr. Ha Van Sieu hopes that those working in Ha Giang tourism need to continue to innovate and invest in experiences so that tourists not only come but also want to stay longer, spend more and look forward to returning. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen communication and promote tourism in a modern and effective way, especially through cooperation with press agencies, KOLs, and influencers, to spread the image of Ha Giang more strongly to domestic and international tourists.

Speaking at the Forum, People's Artist Xuan Bac shared that Ha Giang possesses all the materials to become a source of artistic inspiration, from majestic nature, cultural depth to hospitable people. Although many films have been filmed here, he said that "it is still not enough", because Ha Giang deserves to be more present on the map of culture and art.

Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, shared that Ha Giang being honored as Asia's Leading Cultural Destination is both a happy thing and a challenge for the Ha Giang tourism industry, because building cultural tourism products is very difficult. "With 17,000 member tourism businesses, the Vietnam Tourism Association will work closely with the province to soon build a unique set of cultural tourism products for Ha Giang," Mr. Vu The Binh pledged.
