On the afternoon of June 6, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates: Dinh Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Head of the Economic Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Le Huu Quyen, Director of the Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Branch, met with voters of Nong Cong district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation announced the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio-economic, national defense and security situation of the province in the first 5 months of the year, solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024; reported the results of handling voters' recommendations sent to the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.

Highly appreciating the results the province has achieved in the first months of the year, voters of Nong Cong district also reflected to the People's Council delegates a number of problems arising from local life, which are of interest to the people.
From there, voters of Nong Cong district requested the Provincial People's Council to strengthen supervision of the management and licensing of mineral resource exploitation to ensure socio-economic development as well as environmental protection and social security; pay attention to repairing and upgrading routes 505, 525 and restoring wall route 525 through the area; promptly construct the Hoang River dike project from Hoang Giang commune to Te Nong commune. Request relevant units to urgently resolve difficulties in the construction process of the North-South Expressway Project through the district.

Voters also requested the Provincial People's Council to study and allocate increased local budgets according to the State Budget Law for military and defense work; complete the electricity system to ensure electricity for people's daily life; have mechanisms and policies to increase regular spending for the activities of commune and town health stations.

Voters of Nong Cong district said that the implementation of Decree No. 33/2023/ND-CP dated June 10, 2023 of the Government on commune-level cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune, village and residential group levels will take effect from August 1, 2023, but up to now, Thanh Hoa province has not yet issued a mechanism to implement this Decree. Therefore, voters requested the Provincial People's Council to soon issue a Resolution to ensure the rights of commune-level cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers at the commune, village and residential group levels.
