With more than 300 works by famous artists and late artists from Quang Nam and Da Nang in three fields: fine arts, photography and architecture, the exhibition is a display space reflecting the development process of Da Nang from 1975 to present.

In terms of fine arts, paintings and sculptures from silk, oil, acrylic paintings to wood, bronze, and aluminum sculptures reflect the diversity of urban life, indigenous culture, islands, and the history of the city's struggles and development. In terms of photography, more than 160 documentary and artistic photos capture historical moments, changes in the city, and the lives of Da Nang people, expressing multi-dimensional perspectives on nature, culture, people, and the city's development.
Regarding architecture, there are models, drawings, and images of typical architectural works of Da Nang through the ages, including iconic works such as: APEC Sculpture Garden, Da Nang Administrative Center, Children's Cultural Palace, new urban areas, etc.
As part of a series of activities honoring artistic achievements, on the afternoon of March 22, the Department of Culture and Sports of the city opened the exhibition Da Nang - Past and Present, gathering 305 photos, sketches, nearly 3,000 documents, books, newspapers, royal decrees... to introduce to the public a comprehensive view of the city's history and the city's daily innovation. On the afternoon of March 25, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum will open the Da Nang Brocade Fine Arts Exhibition with the participation of 20 painters and sculptors who are veteran names and artists of the next generation. The exhibition displays 39 works with diverse materials and genres.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Music Association also launched a music video of the song selection Da Nang - The City I Love, including 31 songs selected from 60 new compositions about Da Nang and songs that the city has invested in recently by musicians: Phan Huynh Dieu, Tran Ai Nghia, Nguyen Dinh Tham, Nguyen Duy Khoi...
